This is an extremely awesome restaurant that has high-quality ingredients for everything they make. This is where your taste buds will make you drool for more. I aimed to spend $ dollars for this experience so I could really define this awesome establishment. They do not pride themselves for their ambience. They pride themselves with TASTE, quality, and the ability to master each serving time and time again. This is where you go for the very best Sushi and beverages of the Japanese culture.Although this may be outside the price reach of fast food experience, this is no doubt a place to come eat with a LAX layover.Store your bags at your hotel and grab a LFYT TO THIS restaurant anytime after : pm, and you will experience the real culture of Japanese cuisine.Without a doubt, this restaurant needs to expand times over. But if you like Sushi, the KANPAI JAPANESE SUSHI is where you want to invest your taste buds. This is more elite pricing meals, so I would say this is where you take your date and spend some quality time over a meal. Expect to pay $-$ per person for the average meal. Don't forget to order their famous warm SAKE. It keeps the evening moving along, and laughter is the ambiance. When you want her to feel special, this is a place where you can do that with dinner. Quality time with quality service and food makes for a fantastic ending to a night of moments.

Wonderful service, delicious food! We both each had a Tonkotsu Miso Ramen and shared a "DFC" deep fried california roll. The roll looked so good, I forgot to take a picture before we each ate some - and the ramen was really good, it had a fragrant and tasty aroma that made my mouth water. Very glad we ate here! Staff was very polite and the atmosphere was calm, I'm thankful for that.Parking: Parking is around the back of this strip of businesses

Kanpai used to be my must visit whenever I’m in LA - it’s not the same anymore. takowasa was super fishy and mind you I ordered it multiple times - years ago so I’m not tripping. phoenix moon is smaller in size as well but the last straw was actually the service - the staff was super cordial to their regulars so their indifference to us leave a bad taste for me especially for the price point. Not to mention I didn’t get a spoon the whole time and they never care to ask if we need anything or if the food was goodthat said, I won’t be back anymore. this place has become such a disappointment. if you’re interested in paying high price ticket while getting zero to none service, this is it.

My wife and I were taken care of by the lovely Makiko and had an amazing intimate first time Kanpai Omakase experience curated by the handsome head chef KoKo!It’s our yr anniversary and they celebrated us by serving delicious edible art. Back to back to back. Then to finish it off with a fruit cheese cake made in house specially by another Kanpai Chef along with Makiko personally gifting us a bouquet of flowers! Such love and care.Real talk, the flavors and experience were immaculate. We left happy and satisfied! Definitely will be back with friends and family to fill all seats and relive this top notch omakase experience! Thank you for the unforgettable time! We won’t forget! We feelin hella blessed!
